CLS Family Gatherings
Every summer or every other year, a CLS family hosts a CLS Family Gathering that is typically held in the host families home town or nearby. The first Family Gathering was hosted by Mary and Sam Painter, David’s parents, in 2014 in Augusta, GA. Thanks to Mary and Sam Painter for beginning this wonderful tradition.
The Coffin-Lowry Syndrome Family Gathering is one of the most important gatherings a family with child with CLS can attend. To be able to know what to even anticipate, the rest of your life, is priceless. This gathering of CLS families allows experienced families to meet with newly diagnosed families and help them to understand and create a truly valuable relationship for years to come.
With your donations, the CLS Foundation helps fund these events. Attending a Family Gathering is a great opportunity to meet other parents and individuals with CLS. Most people have never meant another person with CLS until they attend one of these events. If you would like to financially support upcoming Family Gatherings, please consider making a tax deductible donation to the CLS Foundation.
